Students who fell ill after lunch at a primary school in the Vezirköprü district of Samsun were taken to the hospital. The incident occurred at the school in the Köyderesi area of the Sarıdibek neighborhood.
According to the information obtained, 11 out of 40 students who ate lunch at the school showed symptoms of illness shortly after. Upon notification, medical teams were dispatched to the area.
9 of the students, who received their initial treatment at the school, were taken to Vezirköprü State Hospital by ambulance. It was reported that the general health condition of the students under treatment is good and they are not in life-threatening danger.
Following the incident, an investigation was launched on suspicion of food poisoning. It was learned that samples were taken from the food and the analysis process is ongoing.
