An absentee funeral prayer was held in Şişli for Ergashalieva Sayyora, a Uzbekistan national who was murdered and dismembered in a house in Ümraniye.
An absentee funeral prayer was held at the Fulya Mehmetçik Mosque in the Fulya neighborhood of Şişli district for Ergashalieva Sayyora, a Uzbekistan national who was murdered in Ümraniye. Sayyora's parents, along with Ozoda Islamova, President of the Uzbek Women's Rights Association, and the mosque congregation attended the funeral prayer.

Speaking after the absentee funeral prayer, Sayyora's father said, "May our daughter's soul rest in peace. We thank the Republic of Turkey, the mufti's office, our friends, and the religious officials very much. Search efforts are ongoing. Once the work is completed, an obituary will be published."
