During a search of the homes of individuals identified as having engaged in illegal hunting in Kastamonu, a large number of deer heads, deer meat, sausage made from deer meat, and rabbit meat were seized.

The Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Environment, Nature and Animal Protection Team and the Kastamonu Branch Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks determined that N.G., S.K., M.M., N.Ç., and M.D. were hunting without authorization in the Kütüklü field area of Subaşı village, which is connected to the city center.

In the searches conducted at the residences belonging to N.G. and S.K., deer heads, teeth, antlers, hides, 36 kilograms and 100 grams of deer meat, 14 kilograms and 400 grams of sausage made from deer meat, 14 kilograms and 930 grams of rabbit meat, 2 hunting rifles, and 32 cartridges were seized. Five people were taken into custody in connection with the incident.

These individuals were issued an administrative fine of 443 thousand 426 Turkish Lira for the crime of hunting protected animals.
