In the Akdeniz district of Mersin, racehorses that escaped from a farm belonging to the family of Mehmet Emin Karamehmet, once Turkey's wealthiest businessperson, were spotted on the D-400 highway. In January of this year, Karamehmet had crashed his luxury car into a bank ATM.

HORSES GALLOPED
According to the information received, 20 racehorses that escaped from the farm belonging to the family of businessperson Mehmet Emin Karamehmet in the Huzurkent neighborhood of the Akdeniz district galloped in the direction of Adana on the D-400 highway.
The horses, which also ran between vehicles, were filmed by bystanders with mobile phone cameras.
While some of the horses were captured by citizens, others scattered to different areas and disappeared.
