A fire that broke out early in the morning at a jewelry workshop in the historic Grand Bazaar in Fatih, Istanbul, left two people, including a police officer, affected by smoke inhalation.
A fire broke out for unknown reasons at a jewelry workshop located in the Grand Bazaar in Fatih, Istanbul.
Citizens who saw smoke from the fire, which started around 07:50, notified the fire department.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters who arrived at the scene. Two people at the scene, one of whom was a police officer, were affected by smoke inhalation, but it was learned that they are in good condition. While the fire department extinguished the burning workplace, it was learned that the cause of the fire will be determined after an investigation is conducted.
