Allegations of negligence in young woman's death

According to the information obtained, 29-year-old Derya Şener applied to the Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital due to a kidney stone condition.

The young woman, who underwent surgery there, received treatment at the hospital for a while following the operation.

It was learned that Derya Şener, who fell ill a few days after the surgery, was transferred to the intensive care unit after her condition worsened.

The young woman, who was taken under treatment in intensive care, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost her life. Following Şener's death, her family filed a complaint against the hospital administration and the medical staff on duty, alleging negligence. The family claimed that the young woman contracted an infection and lost her life as a result of a chain of negligence. The body of the late Derya Şener was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

An investigation into the matter has been initiated.
