The Ankara Governor's Office has announced that entry into forested areas and picnics involving open fires across the city have been banned until September 30 due to the high risk of forest fires continuing nationwide.
The Governor's Office statement said, "Having picnics and lighting barbecues in forested areas has been prohibited, taking into account the danger of fire."
