Announcement of support for illegal electricity users via mosque loudspeaker
An investigation has been launched into the incident where support for illegal electricity users was announced via a mosque loudspeaker in İdil.
In the İdil district of Şırnak, a volunteer muezzin who used the mosque's loudspeaker to tell residents "do not open your doors" to Dicle Elektrik's illegal electricity inspection team has been taken to the police station to provide a statement, while the İdil Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
In the incident that took place in the village of Açma in the İdil district, volunteer muezzin A.Y., who made an announcement over the mosque's loudspeaker to organize citizens in order to prevent the DEDAŞ teams from entering the village for illegal electricity inspections, was taken to the police station to provide a statement, and an investigation into the incident was launched by the İdil Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
