Argument that started on the phone ends in bloodshed

The incident occurred last night on Yıldırım Street in the Mesudiye neighborhood. A dispute took place over the phone between Tufan G. (22) and İsmail T. (27), the older brothers of two youths who had been fighting in the Mesudiye neighborhood. The two individuals met on Yıldırım Street.

During the ensuing altercation, İsmail T. fired multiple shots at Tufan G. with a rifle he retrieved from his vehicle. The young man was wounded by pellets hitting his left leg. While the suspect fled in the vehicle he arrived in, the wounded man was taken to İnegöl State Hospital by an ambulance dispatched to the scene.

The fleeing suspect was apprehended and taken into custody by police teams. It was learned that in his statement, the suspect İsmail T. said, "Our brothers had fought. We argued over this issue. There was swearing. I fired to protect myself during the fight that broke out."

The individual, who was referred to the courthouse after his interrogation, was arrested by the court he was brought before.
