Armed, bottle-throwing, and stone-throwing brawl in Fethiye: 13 injured

According to the information obtained, two individuals arrived at a taxi stand in the Hisarönü area of Ölüdeniz Neighborhood for an unknown reason and threatened the taxi drivers with a handgun. An argument broke out between the two individuals, who were alleged to work at an entertainment venue, their friends, and the taxi drivers.

Thirteen people were injured in the brawl, in which handguns, glass bottles, and stones were used. Upon the report of the fight to the 112 Emergency Call Center, numerous health, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to hospitals in the district by medical teams.

Following the brawl, District Police Chief Kayhan Dadaşoğlu spoke with the large crowd that had gathered in the area to calm them down, and it was learned that a large number of people were taken into custody in connection with the incident.

On the other hand, the moment a person arrived at the taxi stand before the fight, pulled out a weapon, and the ensuing tension were captured on security cameras.

A wide-scale investigation into the incident has been launched.
