YENİ Party Konya Provincial Chair Nejat Türktaş has resigned following his arrest yesterday as part of an Ankara-based drug investigation.
YENİ Party Konya Provincial Chair Nejat Türktaş was detained at his home in the Ereğli district of Konya on Saturday, September 26, as part of an Ankara-based drug investigation.
Türktaş was taken to Ankara and, following the completion of legal procedures, was arrested by the court on September 29 and sent to Sincan Prison.
Türktaş resigned following his arrest.
