Legal proceedings have been initiated against an individual who attempted to damage an Atatürk statue in Kırklareli.
The Kırklareli Governor's Office reported that proceedings have been launched against the person who attempted to damage the Atatürk statue in the Pınarhisar district.
In the statement issued by the Governor's Office, it was stated that an individual identified as C.B. attempted to damage the statue of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk located on Cumhuriyet Street in the district.
The statement provided the following information: "In the initial investigation, it was understood that the individual named C.B. has a psychiatric condition and has been receiving inpatient treatment from time to time in hospitals in different provinces since 2015, and the necessary proceedings have been initiated against the individual."
