The incident that took place in the İsmailler neighborhood of Çal district has deeply affected the local residents.
The shooting of a pregnant dog with a rifle by an individual identified as A.P. caused fear and panic in the area. A great commotion occurred in the neighborhood upon hearing the gunshots.
While it was learned that the attacker fled after the incident, teams from the Çal District Police Department acted quickly.

The severely injured dog was transferred to an animal clinic in Denizli by municipal teams after receiving initial treatment from Ediz Zeybek, a veterinarian contracted by the Çal Municipality.
