According to the information received, the incident occurred on September 20 in front of a dessert shop in the Huzurkent neighborhood of the central Akdeniz district. It is alleged that relatives of a rival family, who had previously chased the sons of 40-year-old Arife C., a mother of three who works at the dessert shop, arrived at the location where she and her relatives were and attacked them with sticks and various tools. Arife C. was injured in the incident, suffering fractures to her arm and leg. She was taken to Tarsus State Hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, police teams conducted an investigation and apprehended the suspects. The suspects, identified as S.G. (44), T.D. (44), D.G. (39), and M.A.C. (22), were arrested and sent to prison.
Explaining that the individuals had first chased her son, mother Arife C. stated that they were later attacked at the dessert shop she runs with her siblings, and that she suffered fractures to her arm and leg. Her 18-year-old son, Burak C., whose mother was injured, also explained that the individuals had chased him and that he had fled to seek refuge with the police.
Durmuş G., who described his daughter's injury, stated that about 15 people arrived and beat her, breaking her arm and leg, and demanded that the necessary actions be taken against the individuals.
