BBP Sivas Provincial Chairman Ahmet Polatfell ill today while performing prayersfollowing a mawlid programorganized at the Kale Mosquein honor of the birthdayof the late BBP chairmanMuhsin Yazıcıoğlu.
Sivas Cumhuriyet taken to the University Hospital,it was determined that Polat had suffereda heart attack.Despite all interventions performed there,Polat could not be savedand passed away.
The 72-year-old Polat, who was one of Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu's close friends, had served for many years under the BBP umbrella.Having served invarious capacities,he wasmost recently serving as the BBP Sivas Provincial Chairman,a position he held until his passing.
