Blood spilled in noise dispute over children: One woman stabbed
A dispute over noise from children in the Derince district of Kocaeli ended in bloodshed. A woman was stabbed during a fight between neighbors living on the floors above and below each other.
The incident occurred in the evening hours at the Metalciler Apartment building located on Metalciler Street in the Yenikent neighborhood.
According to allegations, a dispute broke out between neighbors living on the floors above and below each other in the apartment building due to noise from children.
As the argument escalated in a short time, A.A., who lived on the floor below, took a knife and stabbed her neighbor, Ajda Ş., in the abdominal area.
Following the incident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon notification by citizens in the vicinity.
The injured A.Ş. was taken to Derince Training and Research Hospital by medical teams and underwent surgery.
The suspect, A.A., was taken into custody by police teams and brought to the Derince Yenikent Police Station.
While the police took security measures around the apartment building, an investigation into the incident has been launched.
