Body found in restroom of IDO ferry in Bursa
A male body was found in the restroom of a sea bus that docked at the pier in the Mudanya district of Bursa. The identity of the deceased has been determined.
The sea bus belonging to the Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO) company, which completed its voyage from Yenikapı to Bursa, docked at the pier in Güzelyalı neighborhood.
After the passengers disembarked, staff conducting final checks on the vessel discovered a person lying motionless on the floor in the restroom area.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the pier.
The medical teams that arrived at the pier determined that the individual, who had no identification on them, had passed away.
Following the prosecutor's examination at the scene, the body was transported to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.

IDENTITY DETERMINED
It was learned that the body belonged to 42-year-old Duran Doğanyiğit. Having completed their examinations, the teams moved the body to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue. The exact cause of Doğanyiğit's death will be revealed following an autopsy.
