The body of 43-year-old Yusuf Alim, who lived in the Doğankent district of Giresun, was found by the Harşit Stream. His relatives, who had not heard from Alim for some time, had reported the situation to the gendarmerie.
Upon the report, AFAD and gendarmerie teams initiated search operations in the area. As a result of the searches, Alim's motionless body was discovered near the village of Oyraca.
It was determined that Yusuf Alim had lost his life, and his body was taken to the morgue of Tirebolu State Hospital for an autopsy.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
