Bosphorus traffic suspended in Istanbul due to fog
Dense fog affected Istanbul in the evening hours. Due to the heavy fog, traffic in the Bosphorus has been suspended.
Dense fog that set in over Istanbul during the evening hours caused visibility to drop.
In an announcement made on the website of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's General Directorate of Coastal Safety, it was stated that vessel traffic in the Bosphorus has been suspended in both directions.
Meanwhile, the Bosphorus, the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, and the Sarıyer coastline disappeared from view due to the intense fog.
The drop in visibility in some areas along the Sarıyer coastline caused difficult moments for drivers.
