'Looking the wrong way' brawl in Isparta: 3 injured, 7 detained

The incident occurred around 03:00 at night in front of a market at the Wholesalers Site in the Sanayi neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a verbal argument that started between Adem T., Batuhan K., Sıla K. and Yılmaz Can B., Ömer T., and Sabri E. due to "looking the wrong way" quickly turned into an armed brawl.

In the ensuing fight, Adem T. was injured by three pellets hitting his left leg, while Batuhan K. and Sıla K. were injured as a result of being beaten. Upon the notification of citizens who witnessed the incident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances after the initial intervention at the scene.

During the investigations carried out by the Crime Scene Investigation teams, 1 unmarked and un-serialized shotgun, 1 7.65 mm pistol, 7 loaded 7.65 mm cartridges, 5 full and 2 empty shotgun shells, and 2 deformed bullets were seized. It was determined that the deformed bullets had hit a vehicle. On the person of the individual named Ömer T., who was determined to have used a weapon, 1 pistol and 1 loaded 9 mm cartridge were seized.

The 7 suspects involved in the incident were caught by police teams and handed over to the Sanayi Police Station. In line with the instructions of the public prosecutor, the suspects were detained to be referred to the courthouse. After their statements were taken, Adem T. and Ömer T., among the suspects referred to the Isparta Courthouse, were arrested by the court and sent to prison. A house arrest decision was issued for Mehmet Emin Y.
