British tourists scatter ashes of deceased relative into the sea in Marmaris
A group of British tourists in the Marmaris district of Muğla scattered the ashes of their deceased relative into the sea.
In the Marmaris district, a group of British nationals scattered the ashes of their relative, who had passed away in their home country, into the sea at Uzunyalı beach during the morning hours.
A portion of the ashes of the individual, who was cremated after death, was scattered into the sea during a ceremony organized by their relatives because the deceased loved Marmaris very much.
While those who witnessed the event expressed concerns that scattering the ashes of a deceased person so close to the shore could be harmful to health, it was learned that teams from the District Health Directorate would take samples from the sea.
