A collapse occurred in the remaining section of a building that had been evacuated and was undergoing demolition as part of urban transformation efforts at the Şirin Sitesi in the İnönü neighborhood.
2 PEOPLE INJURED
Two people passing by were injured during the collapse.
Upon notification, police, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
The injured were taken to the hospital after receiving initial intervention from medical teams.
Search operations by fire department crews at the site of the collapse are ongoing.
