Bungalow vacation turns into a nightmare
A 6-year-old child from a family visiting Sapanca, Sakarya, from Istanbul for a vacation was found unconscious in a pool. The unfortunate child, who was pulled from the pool by his father, lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.
The incident occurred at a bungalow located in the Yanık neighborhood.
According to the information obtained, the Tekin family came to the Sapanca district from Istanbul for a vacation.
The family, who rented a bungalow here, found their 6-year-old child, I.T., unconscious in the house's pool.
The child, who was pulled from the pool by his father and taken to the Sapanca District State Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions.
On the other hand, it was learned that the child who lost his life had a pre-existing heart condition and was receiving treatment for this illness.
The child's body was taken to the autopsy center at the Sakarya Training and Research Hospital Korucuk Campus to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation into the matter has been initiated.
