In the Kepez district of Antalya, a car in motion veered off the road after the driver lost steering control and tumbled down a cliff of approximately 30 meters. The driver, İdris Ö., was injured in the accident.
The accident occurred around 15:00 on Barış Manço Boulevard in the Kütükçü neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 07 CGZ 599, driven by İdris Ö. (50), swerved for reasons yet to be determined.
Bystanders who saw the car veer off the road and tumble down the cliff while rolling over rushed to help. Upon notification, police, fire, and health teams were dispatched to the scene.
Fire and health teams extracted the driver from the vehicle, which had come to rest on a rock after rolling over 5 times. After initial intervention at the scene, the injured driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Ayhan İbrahim Gökkurt, who witnessed the accident, stated that they saw the vehicle while sitting in the park with his friends, saying, "The vehicle came straight off the road. It flew down without even hitting the brakes. We pulled the driver out of the vehicle. We don't know if anyone else was trapped underneath."
