Certain areas in Mardin declared 'special security zones'
The Mardin Governor's Office announced that certain rural areas in the Savur district have been declared special security zones for 2 days.
In a statement issued by the Governor's Office, it was stated that areas within the borders of the district's Yeşilalan and Pınardere neighborhoods have been declared temporary special security zones for October 20-21, in order to ensure national security, public order, and public well-being, prevent the commission of crimes, and protect the rights and freedoms of others.
The statement included the following: "In accordance with the relevant articles of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442, it is important for our citizens to comply with the aforementioned ban for the sake of their own life and property safety."
