Collapse at a construction site in Antalya: 2 workers injured
A mass of soil collapsed at a construction site where foundation excavation was underway in Muratpaşa. It was reported that one of the two rescued workers is in critical condition.
A collapse occurred at a construction site where foundation excavation was being carried out in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya. Two workers at the site on 6th Street in the Ermenek neighborhood were injured when a mass of soil on the edge of the excavation area collapsed.
According to the information obtained, H.C.A. (56) and U.C. (29) were working in the foundation section of the construction site when the soil mass fell on them. During the collapse, H.C.A. became trapped between iron bars, while U.C. was buried under the soil.

Upon notification by other workers who witnessed the incident, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The two workers, who were pulled from under the debris through the efforts of the fire department, received initial medical intervention at the scene.

The injured workers were taken to the hospital by ambulance following the initial intervention. It was reported that H.C.A. is in critical condition, while U.C. sustained minor injuries.
