Colleague stabs young woman in the neck

The incident occurred around 19:00 at a restaurant serving alcohol in the Tefenni district. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Sinan D. (57) and a young woman named Deniz A. (25), both of whom worked at the restaurant. As the argument escalated, Sinan D. stabbed Deniz A. in the neck and fled the scene in his vehicle.

Upon notification by those at the restaurant to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

Following initial intervention by the medical teams at the scene, she was first transported to Tefenni State Hospital and subsequently transferred to Burdur State Hospital. Meanwhile, gendarmerie teams have launched an operation to apprehend the suspect, Sinan D.

ALLEGEDLY FOLLOWED THE AMBULANCE

Upon receiving reports that Sinan D., having learned that Deniz A. was being transferred to Burdur State Hospital by ambulance, had followed the ambulance in his vehicle, police teams took action and secured the entrance to the city center, while gendarmerie teams escorted the ambulance to the hospital. Once the ambulance entered the hospital grounds, the teams returned to their normal duties, while security measures at the hospital were increased. The search for Sinan D. is ongoing.
