In Şişli, comprehensive inspections of public entertainment venues were carried out by teams from the Public Security Branch of the Istanbul Police Department.
During the inspections, which involved 100 personnel, it was determined that a total of 34 women—12 Turkish citizens and 22 foreign nationals—were being employed without insurance and in roles outside the scope of the venues' operating licenses.
At the inspected addresses, various violations were identified, primarily the illegal use of tobacco products, operating in violation of licenses, the absence of a responsible manager certificate, and the employment of uninsured staff.
Administrative actions were taken against numerous businesses due to the identified violations.
