An investigation has been launched into a teacher at Cumhuriyet Anatolian High School in Şırnak for having students sing obscene songs during a music class and displaying violent imagery on the smartboard.
At Cumhuriyet Anatolian High School in central Şırnak, music teacher R.T.Ç. had a student sing a song containing obscene lyrics in class, which the teacher then shared on their social media account on March 14. The cover art of the song displayed on the screen featured violent imagery.
Following the backlash, the teacher removed the post, and an investigation was launched by the Provincial Directorate of National Education on March 28.
