Couriers fined for riding motorcycles in children's park
In Aksaray, two couriers who entered a playground with their motorcycles were caught after footage surfaced on social media; their driver's licenses were confiscated.
Two couriers who entered a children's playground in Aksaray with their motorcycles and performed acrobatic maneuvers were issued administrative fines. The incident took place at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Park in the Tacin neighborhood of the central district.
Allegedly, I.Y. (20) and M.A.K. (20) rode their motorcycles onto the play structures in the park. After footage recorded by local citizens on their mobile phones was shared on social media, the Provincial Security Directorate teams launched an investigation.
The two couriers, whose identities were determined via their license plates, were caught and detained while they were out making deliveries.

A total administrative fine of 146 thousand TL was imposed on the couriers for "performing acrobatic maneuvers," "driving disrespectfully," "riding a motorcycle on a pedestrian path," and "driving without an authorization certificate."
The two couriers' driver's licenses were confiscated for 60 days, and their motorcycles were banned from traffic.
