Demolition order issued for 122 tiny houses in Bursa
A demolition order has been issued for 122 "tiny houses" built on agricultural land in the Mudanya district of Bursa.
Teams from the Mudanya Municipality and the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry have begun the demolition of 122 tiny houses that were built on agricultural land without the necessary permits.

A statement from the Mudanya District Governorate said, "It is mandatory to obtain permits for agricultural structures and non-agricultural land use, and to comply with soil conservation projects. If unauthorized construction for agricultural purposes or non-agricultural land use begins, if the land is not used in accordance with the permit obtained, or if the prepared soil conservation projects are not followed, legal proceedings will be initiated and sanctions will be applied."

The statement further noted that imprisonment and fines may be imposed if agricultural lands are used for purposes other than those intended or if soil conservation projects are not complied with.
