Deodorant can explodes in Küçükçekmece: Mother and 2 children injured

A mother and her two children were injured after a deodorant can exploded in a home in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul. Fire crews intervened in the fire that broke out in the home following the incident.

The explosion occurred in an apartment on the ground floor of a 4-story building on Erdem Street in the Atatürk neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the deodorant can in the hand of the family's autistic child exploded for an unknown reason.

The child, their sibling, and their mother were injured during the explosion. Upon the outbreak of the fire in the apartment, police, medical, and numerous fire crews were dispatched to the scene following reports from those nearby.

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance after receiving initial treatment at the scene. While the fire was extinguished through the efforts of the fire crews, police teams conducted an investigation at the home.
