The public transport tariff for the August 30 Victory Day in İzmir has been announced. Transportation will be 50 percent discounted on ESHOT, İZULAŞ, İZDENİZ, Metro, and Tramway operations, as well as İZTAŞIT vehicles affiliated with the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.
The implementation will be carried out in accordance with the decision taken during the August session of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipal Council. The discounted tariff will cover municipal public transport vehicles for urban travel on the holiday.
İZBAN, which is operated in partnership with the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and the Republic of Türkiye State Railways (TCDD), will provide free service throughout the day on August 30. It was stated that the free usage will be implemented within the scope of the Presidential Decree.
