Driver dies after being struck by cement truck hatch
A driver working at a cement company in Kayseri lost his life after the truck's hatch struck him due to pressure while he was unloading the cement.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in the Ertuğrul Gazi neighborhood of the Kocasinan district; while the driver was unloading the cement truck, the hatch struck him due to the pressure built up in the cement compartment of the truck.
Upon the notification of his colleagues, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
While police teams took security measures in the surrounding area, medical teams determined that the driver had lost his life during their initial intervention.
Following the investigation conducted by the teams, the lifeless body of the unfortunate worker was taken to the hospital morgue.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
