Teams from the Bursa Provincial Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch conducted alcohol checkpoints at various points in the city to inspect drivers.

Finally, the teams conducting an alcohol checkpoint on Ankara Road Street in the Ortabağlar neighborhood of the central Yıldırım district stopped vehicles one by one for inspection.

A driver who entered the alcohol checkpoint stated that he did not have a driver's license after the teams requested it.

Uğur A., who blew into the breathalyzer, was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.12 promille. The driver, who was both unlicensed and intoxicated, complained to the teams, saying, 'For heaven's sake, find a solution for us, brother.' Receiving the response from the teams, 'You are both intoxicated and you don't have a license,' the driver could not avoid the fine even though he said, 'My friend is very wasted, I had to go pick him up from the nightclub.'
