Drunk driver involved in accident offers 'we had a patient' defense
In Çorlu, Tekirdağ, the intoxicated driver of a car that caused a property damage accident by sideswiping a parked vehicle said, "We had a patient, we needed to move urgently."
The accident occurred during the night in the Çobançeşmeneighborhood on Mustafa Kemal 2nd Street. The car driven by T.C. sideswiped a vehicleparked on the side of the road,causing the bodyworkto get scratched.
Following the accident, traffic police were called to the scene. It was determined that driver T.C. had a blood alcohol level of 1.80 promille during the check.
