Eskişehir Governor Aksoy meets with the oldest and youngest teachers

Eskişehir Governor Hüseyin Aksoy met with the oldest and youngest teachers in the city on the occasion of November 24 Teachers' Day.

In his speech at the event held at the Eskişehir Teachers' House with the participation of a group of teachers, Governor Aksoy reminded that November 24 is the date when the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk accepted the title of Head Teacher.

Stating that teachers, to whom the future is entrusted, are fulfilling their duties in the best possible way, Aksoy said:

"We know that they will raise our youth in the best way possible. Just as in the past, they will continue these efforts today and tomorrow. The teaching profession is a sacred profession and an important one that shapes society. In this sense, our teachers have made great contributions to the development, progress, and current standing of the Republic of Turkey. For this reason, I remember all our teachers who have passed away, especially Head Teacher Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with mercy, and I wish health and well-being to those who are alive. I also wish success to our teachers who are currently on duty."

Mentioning that his wife, Hülya Aksoy, is also a teacher, Aksoy celebrated the Teachers' Day of all members of the profession.

THE OLDEST AND YOUNGEST TEACHERS TOGETHER

Governor Aksoy thanked 98-year-old retired primary school teacher Mehmet Uslu, 24-year-old mathematics teacher Funda Karadağ, and other educators for their participation in the program.

GIFTS FROM AKSOY TO TEACHERS

Aksoy, who was presented with books written by retired literature teachers Muharrem Kubat and İlyas Küçükcan, gave carnations and various gifts to the teachers attending the program.
