Failed to heed 'stop' order, injured two police officers
In the Kocasinan district of Kayseri, an individual who failed to heed a 'stop' order from police teams crashed into a patrol car, leaving two police officers with minor injuries. During the investigation conducted by the teams, a quantity of narcotics and an unlicensed rifle were seized from the vehicle, and the individual was taken into custody.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on 381st Street in the Cırgalan neighborhood of the district; B.Y. (29), driving a Tofaş-brand car with license plate 38 AKN 680, fled after failing to heed a 'stop' order from police teams. B.Y. crashed into a police car that was attempting to stop him.
Following the accident, B.Y. was apprehended, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification by the police.
The medical teams transported the two police officers injured in the accident to the hospital after providing initial intervention at the scene.
In the searches conducted by the teams on the individual and in the car, a quantity of narcotics and an unlicensed rifle were seized.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
