Family tragedy in Mersin: 2 children lose their lives in a fire
7-year-old Poyraz and 1-year-old Ayaz Türker lost their lives in a fire that broke out in the Silifke district of Mersin.
A fire broke out in a two-story detached house belonging to the Türker family in the Mukaddem neighborhood of Mersin's Silifke district. Upon notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire, which was intervened by the fire department in a short time, was quickly brought under control.
During the search inside the house, it was determined that 7-year-old Poyraz Türker and 1-year-old Ayaz Türker had lost their lives. Upon receiving the tragic news, mother Ayşenur Türker suffered a nervous breakdown. Her relatives tried to console her.
It was learned that at the time the fire broke out, mother Ayşenur Türker had left the house to buy bread, and the father was at work. The unfortunate fire that occurred during this time led to the death of the two brothers.
