Femicide in Trabzon: Woman loses her life in armed attack

The incident took place tonight in the Adacık neighborhood of the Beşikdüzü district. According to the information received, a woman named Sinem Somuncu (28) was shot in the heart and killed with a handgun by her husband, Ali Eren Somuncu, who was in the process of divorcing her and had entered her first-floor apartment through the balcony.
It was determined that Sinem Somuncu, who lost her life at the scene, had been receiving death threats for some time from her husband, who worked as a minibus driver, and that Ali Eren Somuncu also shot a night watchman in the leg who tried to intervene as he was fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.
While an operation has been launched to apprehend Ali Eren Somuncu, the wounded night watchman was taken to the hospital by ambulance and placed under treatment.
