A verbal argument between Russian and Ukrainian tourists staying at a 5-star hotel in the Alanya district of Antalya turned into a physical altercation.
The incident took place at a facility located in the Payallar neighborhood. The verbal dispute, which was reportedly fueled by the ongoing war between the two countries, escalated quickly. As the parties began to interfere with one another, hotel staff intervened to try and end the fight.
The parties were calmed down with difficulty through the intervention of the hotel staff. The incident was recorded on mobile phone cameras by other vacationers at the facility.
The footage shows the tension between the tourists and the efforts made by the staff to separate the parties. It was learned that the hotel management has launched an investigation following the incident.
