The fireoccurred around 9:30 PM at the Demirtaş Vegetable and Fruit Market in Alanya's Demirtaş neighborhood. According to the information obtained,the fire, which started in the banana ripening warehouse for anundetermined reason, grew in a shorttime and spread to the adjacentwarehouse.Itspread.
Due to the flames, tons of bananas in the warehouses were damaged. Upon receiving the report, fire, gendarmerie, and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the scene. With the interventionof the firefighting teams, the firewas brought under control andextinguished.
