A fire broke out at a factory producing cleaning supplies in the central Akdeniz district of Mersin. Upon seeing thick smoke rising from the factory in a short time, local citizens reported the situation to the authorities.
Following the report, fire crews from the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality were dispatched to the region. The teams have begun efforts to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding areas.
It was reported that the intervention in the fire is ongoing, and the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage will be determined after the extinguishing efforts are completed.
