A fire broke out for an unknown reason in the basement of a 9-story hotel in Beyoğlu. Fire crews evacuated citizens trapped as smoke engulfed the upper floors. The fire was extinguished in a short time.
The fire occurred around 22:45 at a 9-story hotel on Sıraselviler Street in the Cihangir neighborhood of Beyoğlu. According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an as-yet-unknown reason in the basement of the 9-story hotel.
Hotel staff who saw the smoke reported the situation to police, fire, and medical teams. While police teams arriving at the scene took security measures in the surrounding area, fire crews descended to the center of the fire and began extinguishing efforts.

Citizens trapped on the upper floors during the fire, which saw smoke engulf the building, were evacuated in a short time. It was learned that 2 citizens were affected by smoke in the fire, in which there were no deaths or injuries.
The fire was extinguished by fire crews, and cooling efforts were carried out at the hotel for a long time.
Teams have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
