Fire panic at a shopping mall in Kağıthane
A fire broke out in a store located inside a shopping mall in Kağıthane. While employees and customers were evacuated from the mall, the fire was extinguished through the intervention of firefighting teams.
According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an unknown reason at around 22:00 in a store located on the 3rd floor of a shopping mall on Cendere Street in the Merkez neighborhood of Kağıthane.
Smoke quickly engulfed the store and the entire shopping mall.
Employees and customers were evacuated. Upon notification, police, medical, and numerous firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene.
After 1 hour of work by the teams, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.
The store where the fire broke out sustained damage. The exact cause of the fire will be determined following an investigation.
