Fire panic on the metro
According to a statement made by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB), an explosion occurred in the electrical cables on the rail line.
A fire caused by an electrical fault broke out on the tracks at the Batıkent Metro station.
Passengers were evacuated and services on the line were suspended.
Following the intervention to extinguish the fire, operations returned to normal.
