A fire that broke out in a grassy area in the Gerede district of Bolu has reached a forested area. Teams are intervening in the flames from both the air and the ground.
A fire that started in a grassy area in the Gerede district of Bolu grew quickly and spread to a forested area. Teams were dispatched to the region to intervene in the fire, which broke out near Karapazar village.
It was stated that the flames, which started for an as-yet-undetermined reason, were spreading as a ground fire in the adjacent forested area. Upon notification by citizens who noticed the fire, teams affiliated with the regional forestry directorate were directed to the area.

Two firefighting helicopters were assigned to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from reaching the treetops. Numerous fire trucks also joined the ground suppression efforts.

Suppression efforts initiated from the air and ground in the region are ongoing. It was reported that the teams are making intense efforts to bring the fire under control.
