During a virtual patrol activity conducted by the Tekirdağ Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Cybercrime Branch, 2 people were identified who had shared footage of themselves firing a gun on social media.

The suspects, who issued a challenge with the caption "Who can take us?", were taken into custody during an operation carried out at their addresses.

The weapons used in the incident were also seized during a search of the homes of the individuals, against whom proceedings were initiated for the crime of "intentionally endangering general safety."
