The first babies of the new year have arrived: Umut, Ahsen, Eymen

Babies born in the first minutes of the new year filled their families with joy. In Adana, the first baby of the new year arrived at a moment Bedia (38) and Karaman (40) Kayalar least expected.

Bedia Kayalar, whose birth was originally scheduled for two weeks later, suddenly fell ill in the evening and was rushed to the Adana City Training and Research Hospital.

Admitted for an emergency delivery at the hospital, Bedia Kayalar gave birth to a baby boy weighing 3 kilograms and 300 grams.

The family named the first baby of the new year in Adana "Umut." Speaking to reporters, Bedia Kayalar said, "I am very happy. I didn't expect it at all; I still had 2 weeks until my due date. My 4th child has also arrived in good health."

Dr. Erdoğan Koca, an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Adana City Training and Research Hospital, stated that baby Umut is in good health.

THE FIRST BABY OF THE NEW YEAR IN MALATYA

The baby born at 00:08 at the Malatya Training and Research Hospital's Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital was named "Ahsen." Baby Ahsen was born via natural delivery, weighing 2 kilograms and 400 grams. It was stated that Ahsen, the third daughter of the Dalhançer family, was born in good health.

Father Ramazan Dalhançer expressed their happiness and gratitude that their daughter, born in the first minutes of 2025, is healthy. Dalhançer said, "My third daughter was born today, we are very happy. Thank God, both my daughters are healthy. May 2025 bring peace and happiness to our country. I hope our Malatya returns to its former days as soon as possible."

Obstetrician Gözde Yasemin Kurt said, "The first baby of the new year was born in good health. It is the third daughter for Gülçiçek and her family. The birth process went smoothly, and we delivered our baby to her mother in good health. I congratulate the family, and I hope 2025 brings health and peace."

THE FIRST BABY OF 2025 BORN IN VAN

In Van, the first baby of 2025 was born at the University of Health Sciences (SBÜ) Van Training and Research Hospital.

At the SBÜ Van Training and Research Hospital, the happiness of Muhammed Emin Özdemir and his wife Hüsna was crowned with a baby boy in the first minutes of the new year.

The baby, who was born weighing 2 kilograms and 700 grams, was named "Eymen." While the mother and father expressed great joy, it was stated that the baby's health condition is good. Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Remzi Sarıkaya, who visited the first baby of the year with the hospital administration, congratulated the Özdemir family and wished little Eymen a healthy life.

Making a statement on the matter, father Muhammed Emin Özdemir stated that they entered the new year with their baby, whom they named "Eymen," and that they are experiencing the joy of welcoming their second child. Özdemir conveyed his best wishes for the new year to all of Turkey.
