Flags discarded in trash in front of school put police on alert
A large number of Turkish flags discarded in a trash container in front of a school in Antalya put the police on alert. Crime Scene Investigation teams carefully collected the flags from the trash one by one and placed them into evidence bags.
The incident occurred around 19:00 on Sakarya Boulevard in the Kepez district. A citizen passing by on a motorcycle stopped to pick up a Turkish flag they saw on the ground, only to notice a large number of Turkish flags in a trash container a few meters away.
Upon the citizen calling the 112 Emergency Call Center to report the situation, teams from the Kepez District Police Department, as well as the Security Branch, Counter-Terrorism, and Crime Scene Investigation units, were dispatched to the area.

FLAGS REMOVED FROM TRASH
Since the trash container was located in front of a school on the street, the teams attempted to reach school officials.

Meanwhile, teams from the Antalya Provincial Police Department's Crime Scene Investigation Branch carefully placed the Turkish flags found in the trash container into evidence bags one by one.
After a while, when a school official arrived at the scene, police teams began reviewing security camera footage to determine whether the Turkish flags had been discarded from the school.
